The Last Guard is a first-person wall-defense survival game built for the browser. Operate a brutal belt-fed mounted gun, hold back thousands of advancing orcs, and manage your barrel heat before the weapon locks up at the worst possible moment.

Every stand is doomed—but the scrap you recover can strengthen the wall, improve your weapon, and unlock explosive support for the next attempt.

Controls

Mouse: Drag to aim and hold the left mouse button to fire.
Keyboard: Space fires. Arrow keys or A/D can aim. E or W activates emergency cooling. Escape pauses.
Touch: Drag to aim and hold the on-screen FIRE button. Use WEE for emergency cooling.
Controller (experimental): Either stick aims, RB or RT fires, LT activates emergency cooling, and Menu pauses.

Release Status

This is an early 0.7.0 alpha focused on the core siege loop, progression, accessibility, and large-horde performance. Balance, presentation, controller support, mobile-device compatibility, and browser coverage are still being refined.

For the best initial experience, use a current Chromium-based desktop browser with hardware acceleration enabled. Choose the Phone profile for lower-powered or portrait devices.

Content Warning

Stylized fantasy violence, sustained gunfire and explosions, creature death animations, blood-like hit effects, screen flashes, and camera shake. Camera shake and stronger flashes can be reduced from the pause menu.
